Yumm Sauce



Ingredients:

1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
1 can garbanzo beans, drained
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp tumeric

Directions:

Blend all ingredients in a heavy duty blender, vitamix or food processor.

Option:
For a slightly creamier sauce, reduce the garbanzo beans to half a can and add about 1/4 cup of silken tofu.
Since I don't use tofu often I use the whole can of garbanzo beans.

Substitution:
If your you don't have almonds, try cashews. Maybe even a bit better.
